Without knowing too much about the specifics of any of our commitments, so far the list of offers for our recruits is a little underwhelming. Did we go back to having June Jone's staff?

If June had recruited them, they'd be referred to as DITR

They have D1 offers so they aren't June commits.

Don't be cynical about this pickup. This high school LB & RB has good potential as strong safety. All District performer in two positions as Junior. Welcome to SMU Mr. McQueen.

Agree. Remember XC was a JJ suck up. In fact I believe some of the recruits we have now we are going to have to really hang on to them by signing day.

I won't deny that I was not part of the lynching squad for June Jones. I always preach patience. I am simply a little underwhelmed at this year's recruiting so far. Granted we are coming off back to back abysmal seasons, making it that much harder to recruit. Also, I realize that the barren talent on our roster which led to the abysmal records is due to the previous regime. I would simply like to see us landing more recruits with offers from better programs this season.

One of those "underwhelming" recruits we had earlier this year was a zero star, no offer guy named Carson Green who is now magically a 3 star and flipped to Texas A&M.

Most if not all of our recruits have more than 1 D1A offer.
