Cool - a player I've actually seen in person. He's real fast for an LB - personally, I could see him making a killer safety - but when he gets up a head of steam, he hits as hard as a lineman. I've seen him over-run plays before, but to me, that just means he's going all-out. I'm no coach, but from what I've seen, I'd take this guy in a heartbeat.

4.5 is pretty fast for a 220-pound LB. If those numbers are real, this guy should get an awful lot of attention this fall.

We have, I think, three MLBs in D.D. Lee, Reggie Carrington and Zach Hall. At OLB, though, who do we have besides Cory Muse and Avery Cleveland? I know there are other guys there (Coach Bennett said something on Signing Day about playing Wilton McCray at LB sometimes), but I bet LBs are up there with linemen as priorities when Signing Day comes around.

Brown committed to Baylor.

I'm starting to wonder what Guy Morriss is telling guys, because he's getting quite a few commitments, and not from the standard scrubs who head to Waco. The man can flat-out recruit -- he's getting some talented guys to commit.

S.Brown

At the A&M Nike camp last month, Brown measured 5'11 226 and ran a 4.81/40. The 40 time was his best out of 2 attempts.

4.81? I don't feel so bad about losing him, after all.

Baylor just got another kid who was showing interest in us and going to our camps-TE Jason Lamb of Richardson. The Bears are now up to 9 commitments. Despite their inability to compete in the Big 12 Baylor has almost always-except for a couple of years since the DP -been higher on the recruiting food chain than SMU.

Is that suppose to be a news flash or something. According to you, Stallion, everyone has been higher on the recruiting food chain than SMU since the DP. Why the sudden tribute to Baylor? Slow day? New Baptist girlfriend?

Just pricking you around...it is a slow day.
