Devinn Farris, a 2025 offensive tackle from Houston (Heights), Texas who lists himself at 6-6 and 310 pounds, announced Tuesday on Twitter that is is "1,000% committed" to SMU.
Farris chose SMU over a lengthy list of offers that includes Mississippi State, Houston, Maryland, Oklahoma State, Pittsburgh, Boston College, Memphis, North Texas, Texas State, UTSA, Colorado State, Arkansas State, Houston Christian, Grambling State, Jackson State, Lamar, Louisiana Tech, Marshall, McNeese State, Sam Houston State, Tulsa, UTEP
