SMU adds transfer CB

Syracuse cornerback Marcellus Barnes, Jr., has committed to transfer to SMU.

Listed on the Syracuse website at 6-1 and 180 pounds, Barnes (Chattanooga, Tennessee) was a freshman in 2024. He played in five games, collecting 11 tackles and three passes broken up.

From my high school…runs the 100 in 10.54… he will upgrade us and then some!

Good size and hopefully a good backfill for Crossley
