Getting defensive ... again

Terry Webb, a 6-3, 315-pound senior defensive tackle in 2024 at Texas State, has signed with SMU.

Webb, of Galveston (Ball), Texas, played two seasons at Texas State after transferring from Kilgore College.

As a senior, he had 26 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and a sack, three quarterback hurries and a fumble recovery.

In his junior season, he played in all 13 games, including 10 starts, at defensive tackle, picking up 19 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, two sacks and a quarterback hurry.

High School
Played at Galveston Ball High School (TX) … All-district as an offensive tackle (first team) and defensive end (second team) as a senior in 2020 … 21 tackles and 5.0 TFLs as a junior in 2019 … Also competed in basketball and track and field (shot put and discus).

Had offers from Auburn, Houston and South Carolina.

Another mature big man to bolster the interior DL depth. Looks like a good addition.
