Rivals says DeSoto DE Donald Horton Jr., is considering SMU.
Height: 6-foot-2
Weight: 250 pounds
40-yard dash: 4.6 seconds
Oklahoma, Baylor, Boston College, Kansas, Kansas State, A&M, SMU, Tulsa
Anyone know anything about him?

Rivals also mentions SMU as a possibility for ILB Anthony Rader -- but they list him as being from "Grapeville," Texas.

I don't know - if he's an outside LB, 4.6 is good, but I'd like to see him with some more size .... height AND weight.

We need to start getting players from DeSoto, Duncanville, Lancaster, Cedar Hill and the Dallas schools if we are EVER going to be successful again. Donald Horton is the type of player we need to win.

Well let's hope that when we go CUSA that a DeSoto to Tulane pipeline doesn't siphon off some talent. Coach Meadows' son played QB for the Green Wave.

Yeah - that 250 might be a little high, but only a little. He's one quick DE, and he's grown a lot in the last couple years (go figure - he's a teenager). But I bet he's not done growing. For a guy his size, he's fast, and he's stronger than he looks.

Rivals says he's now listing SMU, along with Arizona, Colorado, Mizzou, Washington State, Baylor, Kansas and Texas Tech.
