CU transfers

Do we have a shot at any of the rising number of CU transfers? It looks like many black players from CU are now transfering post-investigation stating that they had no problem with Barnett or the team, but that they feel like outcasts at the school because of the way they were treated. Some of these transfers are from DFW and have stated a desire to be closer to home. Let's go get them. Any insiders know if we're targeting them?

Anybody know if they can get in school? I read an article several weeks ago that said around 70% of CU's football players fail to meet CU's minimum admission standards.

I would assume transfers from a Big 12 university would qualify to transfer to SMU assuming they were in good standing academically. I wouldn't think standardized test scores or other admissions criteria would be an issue for transfers with credit from non-JC colleges. I'm just guessing, however.

One Metrolplex guy who's leaving the CU program is LB Walter Boye-Doe, and he's a beast. But according to someone here, he doesn't have SMU on his list of destination possibilities.
Not sure who the others are.
