Jesuit doesnt exactly produce high quality Div1a talent...what is that great DL doing at NWestern a few years back? I am asking, not being sarcastic...

Thomas Derricks left Northwestern because of personal issues (homesickness, etc.) and transferred to SW Texas, I think. Some Texas school where he could play right away.

But don't dismiss Jesuit entirely - it's not as big as the public football powers, but Jesuit grad Omar Jenkins did start at WR the last two years for that little school up in South Bend.

There's some talent that rolls out of Jesuit every now and then. Ignoring Jesuit kids because they're from a private school is not always fair - got to evaluate each kid, not just where they played. I'd say UT did OK with Kalen Thornton, and they're really high on his brother Kyle (OL) - and they offered the third brother, Kenton (WR). They came out of St. Mark's, which is smaller than Jesuit and actually has fewer top athletes than Jesuit on a year-in, year-out basis.
