SMU in on huge WR

Rivals says SMU is one of three schools in the running for Mart (Texas) WR Jason Madkins - who measures 6-foot-6, 220 pounds and runs a 4.6 in the 40. He might end up as a tight end, I suppose. He's also considering TCU and Baylor.

Any idea if we've had him on campus, either for one of the Junior Days or a summer camp?

Without know if this kid has ability to go along with his size, he sure sounds appealing. If you have him on one side and (6-4) Bobby Chase on the other, and (6-5) Ryan Kennedy working the seams with .... Fred Turner or Devin Lowery burning up the field on a deep route, there are a lot of mismatches there for Chris Phillips to exploit. If nothing else, it makes the defense drop at least 5 guys off the line, creating more running room for the RB.
