They really need to sell the 200s with reserved seats.

It's apparently an NIT thing, not SMU

I got there at 6:45 Wednesday and the doors were already open - a good number seated at midcourt in the GA sections. Game Day at smumustangs.com posted doors opening at 7:00 p.m. (what do you expect when the ticket office recording says 2013 football season tickets are now on sale!) I'll be there 6:15-6:30 Monday just to be sure I get my regular seats.

It was open at 6:30 last night.

Anyone with purple/yellow on should be moved to the side for additional inspection while anyone with mustang colors or gear are rushed through.................

I thought the rule was they had to make tickets available to the general public, but I don't think it requires seating to be GA. I think it's just the easy way out.

They give examples of other schools doing it, but none of them have anything close to a full arena. If we get over 6k sold it is not going to work very well.

I just bought 4 tics...we need to encourage all SMU fans to buy tics ASAP and get there really early. LSU will come in force.

Up your donations, so you don't have to deal with this next year. Morgan campaign donations need to be in before April for consideration for next season. PM me if you're interested in making a donation.

I've heard a ton of people are picking up tix at the box office right now. Get your tix now if you haven't. We are headed for a sure sellout

I like the GA in the sense that it concentrates the crowd, creating a better atmosphere. Say we have 500-1000 empty seats for the LSU game (it's "late" on a monday night), i'd rather have everyone packed in towards the middle

If it's not one thing, it's another. There will be another reason next year why it will be better to be down low.

And hey, we're suffering down low too. The ticket office wouldn't let me renew my 1st floor Moody Garage parking. I mean, c'mon. I have to park with everyone else? Geez.
