wow. i know it's our own fault that we lost, but seeing that bring in the what-ifs that i don't want to think about right now.

Looking back over the stats -- turnovers/steals were almost identical, we had a higher shooting percentage and even a much higher FT%. It's the "situational awareness" that hurt us. Sometimes FT% can be deceiving bc if you're missing the front end, you don't get another opportunity of course. And then of course WHEN the turnover happens and WHEN the 3 pt happens and WHEN the FTs are missed. If percentages are very similar then "poise" wins it for you . . . of course, the points "statistic" is all that matters in the end. I just found it interesting that our shooting % was better and our FT% was almost 10 points higher than theirs:

A bunch of us were sitting along the baseline and could see that he stepped oob. It looked as though the ref was following the ball and not looking at the players feet, which he should any time there is a play along the baseline.

Everyone complains about our FT's in this game but Minnesota shot worse that we did at 58% and still won.
