For lowers or for all?
For all as I understand.
It will be a little more equitable than every seat suddenly being available in Moody. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

they need to take attendance every game. Full seats equals points. Empty seats subtracts X points. Seats filled by an opponent subtracts X times Y points.

That's the spirit. Punish those of us that bought while the program was down in order to support.

That sucks, but I'll worry about that next year.

I doubt you will as long as you use your tickets. They are targeting the folks who buy the "blue seats" and then never use them............

I was also told they are "reshuffling" next year. This is a very bad idea IMO. That will screw over a lot of people, including myself. For the love of God, I'm not buying season tix for football just to "up my points." F that

I have heard that while donation levels will stay the same, they will be per seat rather than covering 4 seats, so basically a 4x increase in required donation. That might price me out of my seats, in which case I might frankly be ok with a reshuffling as it would mean I could actually keep season tickets. My fear is getting priced out of my current seats and not being able to buy any at all since the whole place is sold out.
That said, they are obviously going to seriously risk [deleted] off a lot of people if they reshuffle so they had better be smart about it. I think that people will be somewhat less pissed if they just get priced out of their seats than if they can't buy them at any price because of a reshuffle.

Makes sense. I think if we all calmly assess the situation and acknowledge the financial challenges the AD faces (and the fact that the BE/AAC $ fell well short), it's somewhat understandable. That said, I personally believe it would be a very bad strategic move to squash the real connection (newer) fans are building with SMU athletics so the wine and cheese crowd can check the box. It's an equally big slap to the face for the foundational fans that have had to sit through decades of misery. A strategic AD will look at the money left on the table over the next 3-4 years as an investment and not lost opportunity. Just my two cents and worth what you paid.

I think they will do right by the faithful fans. Now, if Brown and Company pull off a sweet 16 or great 8 performance this year, all bets are off...............
