SMU Stats Versus Opponents

I just looked at our season stats versus our opponents. I was surprised to see only three statistical categories were we are doing worse than our opponents as a whole.

1. 3 Pointers Made Per Game (5.5 to 9.5) but we have also attempted HALF of what our opponents are shooting.

2. Turnovers Per Game (13 to 11) which is the one that hurts!

3. Steals Per Game ( 5 to 6)

On the positive side, we are keeping our opponents to 38% shooting from the floor and we are shooting 78% from the line as well. We are likewise averaging 17 Assists per game. We have some things to build on for sure, if we can clean up the turnovers!

You still have time. I would suggest you hold in your panic until tomorrow afternoon so you can let it build to an appropriate level.
