Yanick

Postby 1983 Cotton Bowl » Sun Dec 07, 2014 11:22 am

Let's assume MK is back this month. What becomes of Yanick? I think he's earned PT. so do we see some kind of "twin towers" deal with Yanick and MK? Or are we going to go back to the super-frustrating situation last year where LB never played the two together? For me Yanick has been (for the most part) a bright spot this season. I loved his second half against Arky and the 15 pt, 13 board line he had the other night. I don't want to see him ride the pine and I don't think he deserves that.

Despite a couple of lousy plays on offense... Yanick was the reason #22 for Wyoming had 4 pts. I think he stays in as a 5, MK as a 4, Ben Moore as a very tall 3. With MK's passing ability it should help a lot from the post.

As Hoopmanx pointed out in another thread we really have only one look. With MK back we can have a big and a small look.

Might see MK, Yanick, and CC rotating between 4 and 5.

Id imagine we would see yanick and the 5 MK at the 4 been moore at the 3 Keith at the 2 and Ben Moore at the 1. If teams go small you take yanick out move MK to the 5 and bring on sterling or Emanuel depending on where they are small.

I love the idea of Yanick at 5 and MK at 4. I hope LB at least tries that.

LB has said many times Ben is playing one up from where he wants him - so I would guess we see Yanick and MK together with Ben at the 3.

I sure hope we get to find out soon!
