Having just watched this years video, nothing is wrong with it. I watched the student section, they were into it. I think the lack of energy is more these are OoC games.

Have taken first timers to last two games. Both loved it and commented on how much fun the atmosphere was, especially students. Chill out. We haven't played a top 20 team in the house this year.

BINGO!!! When the house lights went down and this video started, goose bumps! It built to a crescendo...students and fans loved it! So, in typical SMU fashion, the video is taken away and you're wallet is gouged.

Have you never attended a game before last year? Or a football game since the 80s? I'm not saying there hasn't been a step back since last year or that there isn't room for improvement, but that statement just sounds insane to me...

I've been season ticket holder since mid '80's and probably have missed 1-2+/- games a year on average.

And yes, I should have based that upon being relative to last year. Bottom line, there is a problem, this isn't nuclear physics, address it, get it fixed, then move on and get ready to explain why smu is in the financial mess we are in (fundraising is one thing - unrestricted fundraising is another).
