There was relief and jubilation - just like any team would feel. I think if you are a playing a very good team for the championship you are relieved to win - especially since it is a close game and you haven't won one in 20 plus years. I don't assign it to anything our fan base will learn.

Like is aid on other threads. Our students were great given 75% were gone. THe ones that came were loud and exceeded my expectations.

Don't get the court rush comment - nobody rushed the court.

I have witnessed a lot of crushing defeats at Moody, and I was a nervous wreck during last years NIT games, but I never once felt like we would lose that game yesterday. I was relieved when Markus made the last two free throws because I didn't want the possibility of overtime, but I was never really worried.

I have such faith in this team, and especially their 2nd half play, that I really have fun watching them. I know it's hard but exhale and "let it go" and enjoy SMU basketball.
