I will say again, a coach who is winning his games is not being out coached, he is winning.

So the 92 Dream Team hits a buzzer beater against Kazakhstan for the win they didn't get outcoached?

It is absolutely possible to win and get outcoached. We have vastly superior talent to ECU and they took us down to the wire. A team that won all of two road games all season.

What is the job of a coach? I say it is to win. Thus, if they win, they out coached their opponent. You must relish living in a world of moral victories.

Oh, and it is nice that the 92 Dream Team coach was able to out coach the opposition and figure a way to win.

Where in the world does that [deleted] statement come from? Let me put this into a perspective that maybe even you can understand.

SMU vs. WSU under June Jones. You have told us all too many times how you spent so much money to travel there with your girl friend. SMU dominated the game until half way through the 4th quarter during which time the esteemed coach called the most ignorant play calls that could be imagined and his star QB complied by throwing interceptions that eventually lost the game. Just running the ball to eat the clock would have won the game for SMU. But based on your theory, the WSU coach should say that June Jones out coached him since SMU was dominate for the far majority of the game. I say the WSU coach had his kids in position to take advantage of June's ignorance, although it could not have been expected, and thus the WSU coach out coached Jones. But you go ahead and tell me that Jones was the better coach that day.

Winning does not mean there is good coaching. Losing doesn't mean there is bad coaching. If an opponent is doing something that is hurting your team, and as the couch you can't counter, you are being "out coached" in that moment; but that doesn't necessarily make you a bad coach. Now, I'm sure everone agrees that Larry COULD run out a more parameter-balance defense, if he wanted to, so probably he doesn't want to for scheme reasons, or he does not believe the 3-Pt can beat you or something like that. If his scheme doesn't go as planned, would anyone object to proclaiming he got out schemed?!? I doubt he wanted to be within 5 of ECU at the end, so he got out-schemed, right? But if you consistently get out-schemed by the same game-plan, at what point are you getting out-coached?

Does that satisfy everyone?

Perimeter D has looked very bad our last 3 games. With so little rest time for Nic and Ryan in games I wonder if they have tired legs at this point in the season....doesn't bode well for us if this is the case. They sure haven't looked like they are closing on the 3 point shooters as quickly as they were during the rest of season.

Didn't we get to see a record for TD receptions that night?

Yes, probably the poorest coaching job ever.
