The difference is we did handle UCONN at home and swept them last season. Tulsa lost to us at home so it was a little delusional for anyone to think they would clobber us on the road.

But we played them in Hartford and that changed everything

We also were up by nearly 30 at home against them, and beat them on the road last season in a year when they were better. And we would've had it not been for a crazy, ridiculous shooting day by every single player on their team.

Just read the TU board, now they have a thread talking about when SMU gets the hammer - it's a hate fest!

Be sure to bring a bottle of water. It's really salty over there.

yeah, read that. they think that if woodard had scored his usual points, they still would have been in it.

(Pats little Tulsa on the head)...there there, little Tulsa, I'm sure you did better in that cute little crappy league, but you'll get a chance to try again soon.

It's a bit of a stretch for some to get all apoplectic over 6 whole post on the current NCAA ongoing investigation. 6 seems like a pretty minor number. Once again I don't see these folks as being too out of line for supporting their school and having the traditional bias fans have for their school. The TU fans I have been around (both at SMU and in Tulsa) seem pretty mild all in all and usual friendly. These folks aren't the A-holes some other schools produce in a abundance.

Can we just aspire to receive a Duke level of animosity from opposition fans, irregardless of actual facts and results, and enjoy the results and status that animus indicates we have achieved. It's like the new adidas slogan...there will be hate, because they can't handle our skill.
