Do Elves have Magic powers?

With Cronin coming into town, I was wondering if folks thought Elves have magic powers, or are they just basically short manual labor (cookie makers for Keebler, toys for Santa, etc). Is it better to be a Smurf, a just a run of the mill Elf? Do you think we can get someone at ESPN to ask him these questions right before the game in the interview? If he is a Smurf, do you think he puts on makeup to tone down the blue-ness?

Didn't know if anyone knew any elfin curse words we can throw out at Cronin to get him off his game?
