Alas tonight's game coincides with my wife's 40th. So I will be trying to discretely (who am I kidding, she knows) check the scores. She did say that I should postpone plans with her and go to the game but I think that was just a test!

That's why I only date girls born in May, June, and July so nothing like this messes with SMU sports.

so at least in terms of it's impact on our respective RPIs, that win over TCU brought our RPI from 104 to 54 whereas TCU dropped from 5 to 16. I hate that RPI is taken into consideration by the selection committee when these numbers can be so skewed. Of course, it is early in the season and the sad part is that TCU will benefit more from playing Big XII games than we will playing AAC teams
