AAC has 8 or 9 teams in the RPI top 100

Just saw that on ESPN. Can’t just show up and win or assume a win in this conference.

Conference looks great - even Memphis has started to improved, fast.

remains to be seen whether Cincy gets on any kind of losing streak, but plenty of "experts" thought 14-4 could win the AAC regular season this year. Will be interesting to see how things play out. Nice to be back over .500

I'm jaded so ...
Only way AAC gets more than 2 in NCAA is:
1. Someone not named Wichita State or Cincy wins AAC tourney.
2. Either us or Houston goes on a tear and sweeps Wichita State and beats Cincy once.
MAYBE we get 4 if #2 happens and then someone like UCF or Memphis wins the tourney. (playing against either us or Houston in the championship game).
Again, I'm jaded. Hopefully, we get 3-4 in. Right now, I'm doubtful and only see 2 (MAYBE 3). As long as 1 of them is us!

We’ve gotten 2-4 teams in every season without Wichita State.
