Did everyone else catch the game-ending shot by UT to advance in the NCAA Tournament? One word: incredible.

So you saw it, too. The final score certainly didn't reflect just how close the game was. UT didn't deserve to win. And I hope LSU kicks them from Atlanta to Oakland on Saturday.

I guess you and I saw a different game. Texas led by 14 at one point; WVU's largest lead was 3. If it weren't for WVU's ridiculous 3-point shooting, UT would have doubled them.
I'm relieved it ended without going to overtime, though. I look for a fight against LSU on Saturday.

From what I watched on tv last night, the team that did not deserve to win was UCLA. Texas lead the whole game. Should be a interesting game between the horns and tigers.

Typical media, UT gets more headlines than SMU's new A.D.

Get over it. Until we are in the dance heading into the elite eight and maybe the final four, we will get the same coverage we always get.

The DMN gives us exactly the amount of coverage we deserve....which is very little.

I'm rooting for Memphis, they flat out destroyed Bradley and now get a UCLA team that clearly looked overmatched by Gonzaga. Duke is out. I'm hoping Memphis destroys UCLA and then gets Texas. Nothing would make me happier than for a Conference USA team to bounce the Whorns out of the tournament in the semi's.

everytime Memphis wins the Pot-of-Gold that is NCAA Tourney BB credits gets bigger. Does anybody know the value over 5 years -or whatever the period is- of a single NCAA credit. I think a first round game is worth 1,000,000 to CUSA-how about later rounds.

Could a Memphis national championship pay Steve-O's first-year salary?

Stallion's right. While it will wreck my brackets to so, EVERY mustang fan should be cheering for Memphis to win every game possible.
Stallion, I think there was an article in the DMN a couple of weeks ago that detailed the NCAA credit specifics. The archive feature on their website should still be free to look up and read the article.

Look at it this way as well. If Memphis wins the NC, then the networks will want to cover their games, thus the CUSA tournament gets more coverage, CUSA regular season games could get moved up from CSTV to its new parent CBS. I see it as a great thing for our conference. If Memphis gets to the finals against say U Conn and wins. Don't you think they'll be flipping a big bird at the Big East. I love it.

In my calcutta (for fun of course, gambling is illegal) we still have UT, Wichita State and Memphis in the running. In three seperate regions.
So, Hook 'em, Shock 'em, and ... err... Bite 'em?
