Memphis coach John Calipari has scheduled a second interview with N.C. State.
On one hand, I'd be glad to see him go, because he's a damn good coach. On the other hand, I think he would take a lot of C-USA's credibiltity with him.

from ESPN.com -
If Calipari takes the NC State job then it would go against what he told ESPN.com last week. When directly asked if he would be interested in replacing Herb Sendek (who went to Arizona State), Calipari told ESPN.com "No." He said he wouldn't want to put himself in the position of dealing with all that goes into being in the Triangle with Duke's Mike Krzyzewski and North Carolina's Roy Williams. Calipari is the king of Conference USA and essentially rules that conference as the marquee program. But taking a trip to Raleigh certainly is a bold move that shows he could be ready to take the job. Memphis is doing whatever it can to match NC State's offer. NC State reportedly offered Barnes a deal worth more than $2 million per year. If Calipari backs out of NC State, then the Wolfpack are expected to turn to LSU's John Brady. If Calipari leaves then look for Memphis to seriously consider Colorado's Ricardo Patton, a native of the area with strong ties to the region.
