Didn't get to watch this game but appears our guys really closed strong. Good job!

The first half was incredibly weak with neither team scoring in the first 3 minutes and if I remember correctly our team going scoreless the first 6 minutes. We finally picked it up a little but trailed at halftime. We came out a little sluggish the first couple minutes after halftime but then took off and didn't look back. Hopefully no more ugly basketball going forward.

Was fun to see SMU hoist a championship trophy, even if it was a cruddy holiday tournament, but was a nice looking Cup and Boopie got the MVP award.

SMU played outstanding defense all game and finally put the offense together in the second half. SMU has a lot of players that can potentially contribute but you can tell that Enfield is struggling to get them minutes which may be a problem here soon as some have seen their role decrease as SMU figures out the lineup.

One thing I do not like is Chuck Harris not starting, he plays great defense and is a pure shooter. Him and Boopie need to be out there together more. The other questionable move I see is Cross starting and getting so many minutes. I like the guy's size and hustle and he is a tenacious rebounder, but his defense is awful. He has given up way too many easy baskets to his assigned guy and is very easy to dribble around. The big freshman has a bright future, but he is still learning and is pretty predictable on offense and seems a bit slow. I would like to see Hylton and Colbert get more minutes down low.

Should be a fun season!
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!
