CLIPPERS/suns - game 2

Postby SMUFan » Wed May 10, 2006 10:33 pm

Anyone else watching this? Our man Quinton Ross is THE reason L.A. is beating Phoenix by 11 in the first half -- his defense on Steve Nash has been sensational thus far.

Go Clippers!

Magic Johnson concurred with you on the post game show. Said the key to the game was having Ross guard Nash. The Q also scored 11 points.

i only watched the first half, but the Q looked great. I love the fact that Q is starting on an NBA playoff caliber team. The Clips are dangerous.

Q was terrific, especially in the first half. Did Nash even score in the first half when Q wasn't on the floor? I remember two fast-break layups by Nash, and Q was getting a rest at the time. Q was great.

Been living in Dallas for 10 years, but I want Q to win it all.
If he loves SMU he could flash that ring to some recruits along with Doh's Jewelry.......might make for some impressive "bling" as the young whipper snappers say.

Damn good idea, ponydawg. I also hope the Clips run the table, and that Q comes back home in the offseason and plays in the Moody pickup games. Hopefully, Coach Doherty will make a major to get Q back involved with the program. You couldn't ask for a classier ambassador for the program or the university.
