In tonight's game 3, Bill Walton slobbered about Q's ability "to fill it" -- and the fact that he's the team's "undisputed defensive stopper." A little later, Mike Tirico said something about how "everyone says his offense is just a bonus, but he was a very good scorer in college, at SMU."

Glad to see Q's national reputation continuing to grow.

As Q hit two free throws with 23 seconds left to pull the Clips within one, Walton's slobberfest continued:
"He came into the league as a gunner, a big scorer at SMU. Mike Dunleavy told him 'If you want to stick around, you have to become a defensive stopper,' and he has."
Tirico: "The undrafted player out of SMU is shooting these free throws like this is automatic."

I caught Tirico's comments about Q and enjoyed that a lot.
