Roberson is a very good player and a legit major recruit. He moved from Florida to Plano his sophomore year and for whatever reason has flown under the radar since. An interesting note according to Plano's athletic website - Roberson has played in three state semifinals and two state championships in three high school seasons.

Don’t be fooled by the 3-star ranking.....he is a 4-star caliber recruit. In last year’s state championship game, he went head-to-head with Nic Wise (Arizona) and held his own. Of the two, he made the bigger plays and better decisions at the end of the game. Plano won 62-60 in OT. Roberson finished with 24 pts and was named championship game MVP, and remember this was as a junior. Also, in the two games I saw Plano play last year he was the go to guy on a team with senior Joseph Fulce (Texas Tech).

fulce was committed to a&m and couldn't score high enough on the sat so he is at massanutten (sp?) in virginia prepping. if we could get roberson, fulce would probably give us some consideration and he is a stone cold stud. lot of ifs and the grade thing probably makes fulce a non event but nice to dream.................

By the way, Roberson is way better than Wise. Wise's best days were several years ago. I don't think there is anyway Arizona gives him a scholarship now - they offered him when he was a freshman when he was a man amongst boys.

How good would this guy look playing with Harp. A true point guard feeding a true shooting guard might actually be fun to watch.

Wow. Good point.

You gotta think Harp's commit is going to lead the way to more good players.

Well the best part is Roberson is a penetrating point guard. He is a scorer and can get to the basket. Defenses will have to take notice of him and that would make Harp even more deadly from the perimiter. Harp chose us over Tech (among many others), hopefully Roberson does the same.

And Randolph at the 3 or 4 and you'd have a helluva start to a good team.

If you lay off Roberson, he can stroke the 3 as well.

friarwolf is absolutely right. Roberson is an excellent 3-point shooter.
