From the L.A. Daily News:
"The Clippers picked up the option for defensive stopper Quinton Ross, who will make $826,000 this season. This will be Ross' fourth NBA season, after going undrafted out SMU in 2003."

Its close to it. The average is like $2.5 Million. But hey, it still buys a whole lot of buritos. I agree that a guard who can score and play defense will be a desired commodity when he gets to be a truly free agent. I'd love to see him on the Wizards who have no clue about how to play defense.
Yes, that's about the minimum for someone with his level of NBA experience. His original deal must have been at the minimum, with the final season at the team's option. However, his next contract will be WAY beyond the minimum and probably even above the league average. http://www.insidehoops.com/minimum-nba-salary.shtml
That sounds good.
Well its enough to make the minimum donation to the Mustang Club! Its about time some of these ex-athletes start giving back to the school. It would be nice if Mr. James and Mr. Dickerson would also make some nice donations since they obviously have done well. And afterall, how can the program hope to match the BCS schools without some money from well off and well connected alumni! I look forward to seeing their names PROMINENTLY mentioned among the donors to the Club in next years football programs.
