CUSA tournament

I can hear what everyone is saying, but please explain it to my ignorant ears. What I have heard is that the Memphis fans fill the arena when Memphis plays but it is empty when all of the other schools play, incuding the semi final sans Memphis. So it would stand to reason that the tournament could be anywhere ( Memphis fans would travel) and the attendance would be the same and other schools would get the benefit of outside funds assisting their program and community. Seriously, if the tourney was held in Dallas, am I to assume that all the Memphis fans would sulk and stay home?

I'm sure Memphis would have the largest contingent of fans that would travel of all of the CUSA schools, but it still wouldn't come close to the 14,000 that attend the games in Memphis.

I can assure you that the LAST place the tournament should be held right now is Dallas. The local media would barely pay attention and the AA Center would be a ghost town.
