Looks like others value what Calipari is doing for Memphis and his results in Conference USA. Interesting Coach Doh went out of his way to play them regularly:

All ships rise with the tide. And with a stong Memphis, it helps CUSA to really improve the quality of its product. With UTEP, UH, Tulsa, Memphis, UAB, there are programs that have had a history of some success in the NCAA tournament. There is no reason why this conference cannot be a three or four bid conference down the line, if we improve our recruiting and our play on the Court. We are still adjusting, but I look forward to big things in the next decade.
