Q in Memphis Last Night

He took a bad spill two games ago and had to sit out last game. So this was his first game back after that injury. Eight points in 14 mins, so he'll be back in the regular rotation in no time. Clippers come to Dallas on 12/21.

Dunleavy raved about Q when I talked to him, and said he could be the most valuable player the Clips have. Then Elton Brand walked by, and he couched it by saying he's "as valuable" as anyone they have. He said something to the effect of Q's flexibility and ability to defend multiple positions allows him (Dunleavy) the luxury of "hiding" players with foul trouble by sticking Q on the guy the other player might otherwise guard. It's been a couple of years since the interview, but Dunleavy sounded like he considers Q a must-have player for the Clippers.

Yeah, he's been their go-to defender for a few years now. It's great to see him doing well at that level.
