The SMU women's basketball team has won eight straight games, which ties the Ponies for the third-longest winning streak in the nation.

The Ponies will be in New York this week, playing at 7 p.m. (Eastern) Wednesday night (12/19) at Manhattan College (which I was told technically is in the Bronx) and at 2 p.m. Friday afternoon (12/21) at Hofstra, which I think is in Hempstead (Long Island).

If any of you can, dust off some SMU gear and come out and scream like raving loons. Anything to help keep the streak alive!

Good luck to the ladies. I saw where A&M beat Auburn (a top 25 team) last night. This is a pretty amazing run right now the Mustangs are on. Only one loss by five points to a top 10 team. Keep it going ladies. Good luck in New York! 10-1!!!
