SFA is 11-1 for a reason. They are a good ball club and wil probably win thier league.

This was not a terrible loss for us. They guys fought hard throughout. They could have given up when every ridiculous three ball went in for SFA, but they didn't. With a lucky bounce or an actual good call by those officials, we'd have beat em.

This team is growing and should be competitive for the conference schedule.

The team plays pretty good D but it all comes down to putting the ball in the hole & this team appears to have the same problems they had last year, ballhandling & scoring. I can see Doh's committment to controlling the tempo keeping them in games vs. Rice, Marshall, ECU, Tulsa, UTEP etc.
Other than Memphis, UAB & Houston its really going to be very competitive for that next level in the standinds with Southern Miss & UCF possibly being the best of that group.
Hey, anythings possible when you lace em up. Hopefully it will be fun & we turn out to be the big surprise of CUSA this year.

No. If there is a clear frontrunner in the Southland, it's Sam Houston. SFA is solid, but they will be fighting UTA for 2nd place. After those 3 and maybe Central Arkansas the Southland takes a nosedive. SFA should be in the post season, though, they'll challenge for the auto-bid out of their tournament, and if they dont get it I could see them in the NIT.
Try not to choke on the Kool-Aid.
