He calls a TO and if Tulsa still makes their shot then people are wondering why we called a TO.

Killen was on him, could have been on him a little tighter obviously but he probably didn't want to foul him and give him a one and one. It also looked like Papa got boxed out from where he needed to be. Should have won the game but hopefully we pull out the next one and this makes us a better team by the CUSA Tourney or next season.

Does every CUSA team get to play in the CUSA tourney?

I don't know if you read my original post. I would rather live with by losing on a jumper rather than a guy get a point-blank look. You force him to put it.

As for Tyus Edney, Missouri didn't put any pressure on him and got what it deserved.

It's inexcusable that a layup should be the game-winning shot in a game.

Yes not entirely disagreeing with you, but we wouldn't have the luxury of knowing that the other option was losing by a guy getting a point-blank look. All we would know is that we lost because the other coach had time to draw up a play that allowed them to hit a game winning jump shot. And then half the people on this board would be complaining that we called a TO when the other team was out of time outs. Hence the Damned if we Damned if we don't. Knowing the outcome makes it a much easier choice.

If Papa doesn't get boxed out and the guy gets trapped by Papa and John and has to throw it up over a 6'9" player, then maybe we win. Hopefully John, Papa, and the rest of the team (staff included) can learn something that will benefit the team when it matters.
