It still appears things haven't picked up any for Robo Doh in the state.
Locally, not to many kids showing up on the radar except Javier Carter, a 6'8 kid here in Dallas. The only other local kid I have seen play with interest in us in Vetrial Voughn, the pg from Mesquite. He is very good.
I've seen where Roger Franklin, the highly rated forward from Duncanville has shown slight interest but I wouldn't be surprised to see him in Austin with teammate Williams who committed to UT last week.
Keeping my eye on the Cherry kid in Oakland although I would prefer to see some size with these 2 rides. The kid mentioned in an earlier post on this subject sounds good too.

I'm more concerned with a scoring off-gaurd or wing at this point than bigs really. Look at the roster we will have this upcoming season and tell me our outlook wouldn't be drastically different with a 2-guard that can create his own shot. Just an idea of how our talent lines up...

Bamba TK
Dia Faye Mook
Malone Nayakundi
Scoring2 Harp
Williams McCoy

Roster will look the same the following season except for the loss of Bamba, but I would think Faye slides into the starting line-up just fine. A scoring wing- that would be the ticket.

Is Justin Haynes on campus? If so, how does he look in pick-up?

Based on your depth chart after Bamba leaves I'm even more convinced we need some bigs.
A couple of 6'8 kids have emerged recently showing interest in us & Still has had us listed some time as a school of interest.
Also, I really like the Vaughns kid a Mesquite. He is very explosive.

After Bamba leaves, we still have Faye, Dia, Nyakundi, Malone, TK, Cort Hoge & Otis as frontline size. No doubt, we could use additional talent, but we have some live bodies.

I'm interested in Nyakundi, is he inside/out or outside/in? What is his range? Can he beat anyone off the bounce? Any back to the basket moves? Otis is an enigma to me. He's highly skilled in most aspects of the game, except shooting. Dia can make make money playing for a living, if he just keeps improving, and shows consistent intensity. Malone is pretty gifted offensively. Hopefully he develops a move or two, going towards the basket, to open up the jumper. Faye is athletic, that simple.

In the backcourt, it'll be interesting to see what Haynes and McCoy are capable of, and how Harp/Walker improve.

Lots of questions on the court, but I like the direction of the talent level.

Good thoughts, Doh. Hopefully we can get some replies on the Haynes and Nyakundi questions.
