Anyone seen them play any pickup games yet? How do they look?

I haven't seen either play yet, but I met McCoy briefly — he looks a lot stronger than the pictures that were circulated when he was recruited.

Good to hear. He looked awfully thin in his HS pictures - glad to hear he's adding some muscle. Can't wait to see that dude play.

When do practices start, and are they open?

Not sure about when practices start — will try to find out.

Saw a few guys working out (lifting) today. Not only does McCoy look visibly stronger than when he was being recruited, but Coach Doherty's blog that talked about Robert Nyakundi's new physique is dead-on ... he looks a whole lot leaner. Also saw Mo Faye, who looks leaner as well. I've never seen him play, but he looks like a thoroughbred who could run all day.

That's good to hear about McCoy. I was a little worried that he might get run over in the more physical college college game. Here's hoping he busts out with a Freshman of the Year kind of year.
