October 18
"First Day"
We finally got to hit the floor for a real practice on Friday! It was exciting to plan for this day and then to see it arrive....a lot like Christmas when I was a kid!
We have some talent....speed....quickness....skill.... Everyone performed well, but Bamba really stood out yesterday as he practiced hard and played with a lot of confidence....man...can he run the floor!
Today - practice #2. The key is sustaining the effort and energy! That comes with leadership.
Who will replace Jon, Derrick and Paulius' leadership from last year???? That is critical to our success.

Would love to see Bamba come out this year and just dominate games offensively and defensively.
He has very good stamina and conditioning for a big man and should be able to play large chunks of minutes if, (big IF), he can stay outta foul trouble.
This should be his year, the time for him to shine is now.
