I too would be very concerned if Mike Walker is our starting PG if he plays anywhere close to how he did last season. I'm really hoping that Williams will be a big upgrade for us in ballhandling and penetration.
This paragraph is from the DMN preview published yesterday:
"The Mustangs will feature two point guards on the court at once, with returning sophomore Mike Walker, freshman Paul McCoy and junior college transfer Derek Williams expected to share the duties. "
Hopefully that will give us much improved ball handling over what we saw last season. And actually, from a couple of recent things I have read/inferred recently, it appears that Walker may be starting. I had heard he made great strides this off-season, especially in Africa, and I hope that is the case because his performance last season was very inconsistent.
With two "PGs" on the floor at once, do you think this is an indication Doh wants to get out and run more this season?
