Mark Cuban Heroes Basketball Center

The Heroes Foundation dedicated the HBC last week. Going to be a great place for basketball at all levels.

Tim Mason and I are the Directors for Heroes Basketball and will oversee the HBC events. We also train all our Heroes players and coach our 2011 team.

I say all that to say...youre going to start seeing/hearing more about the local talent. We will have one of the better teams in the nation. I'll post some rosters in the coming weeks.

SMU is well represented w/the Heroes. Founded by alum Charlie McKinney...directed by me and Mase...even alum John Briggs is one of the coaches. Doherty has been extremely supportive of the Heroes...so here's hoping we can keep some of these guys home!

The Prestonwood guys are with the Texas Titans. They are WELL-taken care of by Kenny Troutt. They do a good job over there too w/Jeff Webster and the gang.

No match for what we're doing at the Heroes though. ;o) We started with a team of unknowns...but thru training/development...theyve grown into some of the bigger studs in the area. 7 current seniors signed early and a few more have potential offers from our 2009 team.

We just took over operations so once we get the site updated...I'll post a link that has our roster and pertinent info. Our 2011 team currently has 5 players 6'8 or taller...and they just turned 16!

This is very exciting news to see that we have a legit shot @ keeping some of the local talent @ home. Thanks
