Joking aside, I like the way we play zone, we have consistently held teams to low scores and shooting percentages and rebounded good as well. Nothing wrong with a zone if you play it correctly.

So did coach or Derek make the mistake to pull the trigger with 4-5 secs left?

Wow, it sure stinks to be us. Miss a sure winner on the road and then have that should fall. Definitely kick in the gnads.

Someone told me is that he plays zone when his 3 big men -- Dia, Fall and Faye (?) -- are on the floor at the same time because they can't move as quickly. I see the sense to it. But I guess it would depend on when in the game it was played.

Don't know much about the UTEP game but I guess we played it late. People are saying it pretty much took us out of a chance to steal the win? That would be true but I also heard we were down 16 with about 6 minutes to play. Pretty hard to rally against that.
