If that is your argument then, you must recognize the genius we have. No Doherty, no NCAA championship for UNC. No championship, no Hansborough etc.

While I was one of the folks who was very critical of the firing of Jimmy Tubbs, the past three years have shown that Fall and Dia are not Olijawan and Ewing. Dia has shown flashes of ability only to disappear. Fall can't block out, hasn't developed his offensive game, and gets tossed around like a twig by stronger post players. We know that Tubbs (remember Cheeseburgergate) and Doh tried to bulk him up and get him to the weight room, and he's gained some weight, but still is not strong enough to be a great low post player, and perhaps he was never going to develop into Akeem the Dream - we knew he was a project when we recruited him. So do you fault Tubbs for recruiting these guys or Doh for not developing them? Or do you fault Doh for not recruiting better players so that they got the end of the bench? These arguments can go any direction you want them to go. The fact is that we do not have a winning team on the floor right now. How do we get one by next year without buying a team?

Tubbs was only given two seasons. Where were you wheen he was being treated unfairly?

Don't forget the box of Cheer or was it Tide? Inquiring minds want to know.
