he has an interesting theory about going young but finding that young coaching talent is just as hard as luring a "shoot for the moon" type coach...

i dont know that doherty will ever bolt because he may never be able to bring us fully out of orbit and just decide to leave, but my hopes are that he will stay and get us back to the tourny at LEAST

as far as jones in concerned, he isnt young but that never stopped anyone from going other places, look at howard schnellenberger, lou holtz, etc...

to what i saw in another thread, as long as we dont start pulling some kentucky style BS with unrealistic expectations and slamming our coach on these boards before he has gotten 4 years of recruiting done and us out of the cellar everything should come out fine and i would expect june to have his contract extended and therefore our program to be stabilized in one aspect.
