Since you're new to the site, you have a category above saying "You have X new messages.'' Look there and I have responded to this.

The General don't deserve jack crap!
He is a devoted Doherty Hater and has been very negative of the program despite what McCoy did last year......

No. 1 -- It's none of your business
No. 2 -- It's not for you to judge
When Doherty stops acting like a disingenuous jerk, then maybe I'll stop going after him.
What he has done in his three years here to earn YOUR faith that he will turn it?

1) Did he personally do something to you? - Never mind, i don't care.
2) Who recruited the kid you are trying to get tickets from?

Your number 2 is completely inaccurate. Please read what his cousin wrote. The mystery is you don't know how I responded to it.
As for No. 1 what Doherty "did" to me was take the men's basketball program and WRECK IT.
Sounds to me you were OK with the team going 9-19, playing terribly most of the time including losses to UAPB and UTSA, Papa Dia going through a season-long disappearing act, and then going through these rumors.

Haha, "WRECK IT."
I don't think we have had a winning season since 2002.
I don't think we can blame Doherty for the past 7 years of losing.
If Doherty left today, the program is in a better place than he found it. Sure we haven't seen it on the court and that is what ultimately matters, but from renovations to the Crum center, he had a lot to do with it. Crum himself said they gave the money to SMU because "while we were having dinner with UT AD (maybe the horns aren't so bad) he was raving about what a great hire Doherty was and how he could turn it around if he had full support. So they (the crums) wanted to do their part". I don't think the Crum center would be here if it wasn't for doh.
That being said, wins and losses is all that truly matters, and we all believe this is the year Doherty has to prove himself. But to say he wrecked the program is a pretty strong statement. Look at our record over the past 10 yrs.

All that suggests is that Tubbs did more with less.
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.

If tubbs came first, and Doherty is leaving it better than he found it......
A losing record is a losing record. Don't get me wrong, it is pathetic how bad we have been for such a long time. I blame the higher ups more than the coaches. If Doherty can't produce this year and he has to go, then I think the next coach will have a better situation than Doh did and the coaches before him.
I hope he can do it. Man, this is so early to have these talks. We usually don't have these talks until after the football team is 0-4.
Shoot me.

He hasn't done much yet, but I think it will turn and he will turn it, especially by recruiting good players like McCoy....
You don't need free tickets, you hardly come to Men's Hoops games anyway, besides Texas or a Big11 team will probably be on TV that you can watch

Talking hoops in July is great!
As far as the program goes, I do think Doh has surrounded himself with a much better coaching staff than past years & I think we will see it pay off both on the court & in recruiting.
As far as the team goes, we have the top backcourt in CUSA imo.
Glad McCoy is staying. He provided alot of very exciting moments last season as a freshman. I real joy to watch.
I expect a winning season.
