Three-point shooting

Postby PonyPride » Sun Dec 20, 2009 1:44 am

After a stretch in which the Ponies could barely buy a basket from three-point range, there's this interesting note after the win over Occidental:

The Mustangs are 24-of-50 from 3-point range in the last two games (12-27 at Occidental, 12-23 vs. Texas State on Dec. 7)

we're gonna see tonight. UNLV has the length and quickness to close out on shooters, as well as crash the glass. Need a huge effort
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.”- Jalen Jones
