bump...this guy's predictions look pretty good right now (except for missing on UAB).

The way these guys are playing right now, that .500 finish is certainly within their reach

Very solid guards in McCoy/Haynes/Clinkscales/Williams, but nothing other then Dia upfront. Faye is softer then Charmin & floats, and Nyakundi is a face-up 4, not a banger.

We need to push the tempo this year, and jack up open looks. Don't eat the clock, don't pass around the perimeter w/no hope of going inside etc. RUN

PonyDoh?...this was your suggestion?......

Yea, I still think the current personnel is more suited to an uptempo game when looking at individual skill sets, but for whatever reason, they just flail when playing that way as a team. Happy to be very wrong, and glad to have the current identity. Beyond that, it's been a wild year w/McCoy, no Nyakundi early, Faye being in and out etc. FWIW, I've always thought the proper model long-term was more in line w/a Butler/Gonzaga etc etc. Fits the mold of the school. Like most, I didn't understand the slowdown philosophy w/this squad, until I saw it work..lol
