NO MORE DOH!!!

I'm new here but I had to sign up and voice an opinion regarding Doh and the sad state of SMU basketball. Why is he still here? Take the name recognition away and all you are left with is records of 14-17, 10-20, 9-21, and now 11-12 with surely another sub .500 record pending. His best year was with someone elses players. He can't recruit Dallas. He has lost his current players. He is a subpar X/O's coach. His brand of basketball is beyond boring. Moody is a mausoleum. And now I have a serious problem with a college coach blaming HIS kids after a loss. He is mad at them for celebrating too much after a nice win and then he berates them PUBLICLY after a tough loss...how brutal is that?!? His SMU record now stands at 44-70 which makes the Dement and Tubbs eras look fruitful. SMU tried for a big name coach with ND and UNC credentials and I applaud them for their efforts and money spent but now it is time to realize the experiment has failed with a coach that can't recruit in his own backyard and is a miserable 26 games under .500. I like Doh as a person but I like SMU bball more and the facts and the record aren't lying to us. He had a major role in bringing the Crum center to campus and I'm fine with that being his legacy here, but now its time to bring in a coach that can and will do what june jones has done for football.

Agree - he should have been gone after last season. I don't believe the money is there to bring in a big name coach so I guess Doh will get to coach here next season too. It is sad when UTEP brings almost as many fans to the game as SMU.
