Ponies win by 7 although we were up 11 before they made a couple of desparation shots at the end. Solid second half against a bad team. Simpson and Hop led the way scoring. Way to go ponies...a win is a win.

Way to go, Ponies - time for a late-season run! Got to make this one count by winning at Hawaii Saturday.

I was one of the few SMU fans at the game tonight and glad to see a Mustang victory. SMU was lively on the offensive boards, denied outside shots on defense and executed several plays on offense very well.

HOWEVER, SMU should have won by at least 20 tonight. SJSU is truly a horrible team and deserves to be in last place. The Spartans cannot run nor can they shoot from outside. With a little more patience on offense along with a greater emphasis on the inside game, SMU would have won in a blowout.
