ponydoh, no one is confused about that, the history is long and the 'distaste' runs deep. But Doherty has proven he is not a bridge to improving the local relations, nor has he gotten it done elsewhere, or on the court. So what do you have? 3 problems made worse than when you started. I guarantee when they hired Doh they knew we would get killed locally, but they didn't care, because someone thought Doh would win big and it wouldn't matter in the end. How'd that work out for us? local bridges are being repaired by the new staff, it's just not a quick fix. Assistant turnover is what has ailed this program. Who to blame that on is anyones guess.

doh can't recruit disd because those kids and coaches see doh for the con artist and fraud that he really is......all you have to do is go to a game and see for yourself.....

I wouldn't send my own son to SMU to play for Doherty, so why would any DISD or AAU guys encourage their players? He is a poor in-game coach, poor X and O's, he doesn't win, his players don't get better aka he is a poor teacher, and he brow-beats them at every opportunity...and now I don't respect him after his latest spin-control antics. Its not rocket science, the guy is a fraud.
