Nice little run.

I know nothing about their team, coach, or program. Not an pushover academic school - what is their recruiting history and coach? They can't have many athlete type majors I would imagine.

Nice financial impact

Their coach's record puts a major dent in Jean-Jacques Taylor's argument that it never takes five years to turn around a program.

I think I heard that Cornell has eight seniors this year, too.

How can they have 18 players? Is there a limit on walk ons?
Looks like they don't recruit locally very much. They have a total of ONE player from NY.

Ivy League rules prohibit members from offering athletic scholarships, so all of their players are technically walk-ons.

Check out some other Cornell sports. Hockey team in top 5, 2 wrestlers in NCAA finals and 2 in semi-finals, top five rated lacross team, top Ivy football team.

I agree with your understanding. These players are unique. They are intelligent.
