Bergermeister, you might as well pound sand with that attitude. I don't like Doherty anymore than you do. But the reality is that he's staying. I'm not a big fan of June either.

But for me, it goes back the good of the program before any personal feelings. I'm tired of our programs playing like crap.

Do we want to win or are we obssessed with personality clashes?

You give him a wink, wink, nod, nod extension if it expires in 2012. My view was at the beginning of this season that he needed to be .500 this year either in conference or overall to save his job, it looks like he's going to meet that low expectation and that's a good thing. We don't want his seat to cool off again. He needs to keep the heat on. Remember, whether he's extended or not, coaches walk whenever they get a better deal offered to them (Billy Clyde, Pittino, etc.).
